Hi Jay.  I realise this is a very old post, but I've had a hard time locating a neutral safety switch for my '46 Cadillac.  It current doesn't have one, which is a little dangerous.  Any chance you'd have a photo of what one looks like?  I guess you sold the '49 one ages ago.  Cheers, Lloyd

Sorry, Lloyd, but I did sell it back then.  Mine was for a '49 and according to my Parts List the '46 version is different.  I suggest you try someone with a '46 or '47.
