I am looking for a straight wheel for my 74 ELDO.  Can bent ones be trued up?  Is this something that a wheel shop can do or is it better to look for a straight wheel.

I would not try and straighten an Eldo wheel.  The process would tend to weaken them and you need all the strength you can get.  I have a "space Saver" spare and let you use your spare's wheel.

Is this a problem you can see or just something they are telling you when you keep complaining that there is a vibration?

I had a shop tell me I had 2 'bad' wheels.    I went to my stash and got a couple more that they said were good.  Still had vibration issues.  Next shop said those were bad so I brought them the first 2 that they sad were good.  Still had issues.    Eventually got rid of the big brand name tires in favor of a store brand and because of what I wanted to keep for spares ended up with all the 'bad' wheels.   No problem,  smooth sailing.
