The horns I have do not work and they were mounted in the back of the air filter housing, So I am not sure if they are the correct ones and they just mounted them in the wrong place

Here are pics of my horns. They were stored with a friend & he brought them over tonight. I have NO idea if they're correct. They're on their way to a swap meet on Sat. I have not tested them. Questions? Please ask.

OK guys, here's the skinny. I couldn't take a picture because I would have to remove the grill but I can see them through the grill.  Your horns are not the right ones for 38 Bob but they would certainly do because when fitted no one can see them, but the absolutely correct 38 horns are one at 24" long and the other 18" long. Both on a separate brackets each side of the inner grill surround.
I did think the bracket holding yours together Bob might be 36 because the 36 horns are attached to the rad stays but no, the 36 horns have the trumpet coming out the base of the body and turning 90 degrees to face forward. The 37 horns actually face backwards then the trumpet turns 180 degrees to face forward and these horns attach to the air cleaner. HTH

I'm pretty sure we are all aware, especially as David himself started both posts. In the first he wanted to know just what was missing and now he knows he started the the second where he's asking if anyone has the correct type. Bob was trying to determine if he has the correct type?

I'm sure we appreciate Toms pic. I can only see one horn & very little of the mounting bracket. I think Steve is right. My horns could be modified to fit in his 38. That's up to David.

I've not tested the horns. I don't have a 6 volt battery. I also feel that they should be serviced &  cleaned first  as has been discussed on this board in the past. I will be selling them as-is for $150 plus postage. Please contact me directly at bobscads@comcast.net.
