I have located a 1949 Cadillac engine and want to install it in my 1937 LaSalle Coupe so I am seeking the bellhousing parts, flywheel, pressure plate, etc. necessary to covert it to standard shift. I will be using the '37 transmission. I also need a distributor.
Thanks,

Carl,
I have an aluminum flywheel for your project. It was a desirable accessory back then.   $125 plus shipping. I have no other parts.

Too much fun is more than you can have.

Carl- Your most difficult part to locate would be the stick bellhousing from Cadillac. Virtually the same unit was used by the 1950 Olds V8, and there were many many more Olds with sticks than Cadillacs.  I would guess that 99% of folks that made that conversion (including me) used the Olds .  In fact, I think I remember seeing an ad  this year for someone reproducing the bell housing in aluminum (try googling Wilcap for all the parts.)
