This was sitting on a shelf out of a box for years before I got it years ago. It appears to be NOS, but I don't have any known NOS units to compare.  P/N 1118102. This may work on earlier car but the wires come out on the side. Thanks to Steve Passmore, I was able to bench test it. $250 plus shipping. I have more NOS starter parts.  Read Brad Ipsen's post. Maybe it can be used on a 49? Please contact me directly at bobscads@comcast.net.
