Looking for a blower setup for a 346 flathead. If no one has any parts  does anyone know what size blower they put on a 346? Any info helps thanks.

There was a poster on this forum several years ago that had a Utube video of a blown 346 they had built. I can't remember his name but think I recall it dyno'ed at somewhere near 500hp. They were running it in a 30s Chev chassis. Hopefully someone with a better memory than mine will chime in.    Harry

Just want to add an editorial by asking if these old flatheads can withstand the torque.

From what ive read and seen as long as you build them up they can handle it. How long? Got me....

Then you are talking about using forged pistons, forged rods and a billet crank? Don't forget the oil side.

Yes forged everything with Cam  And girdle.  I'm doing a 500 blower motor right now so I'm assuming everything that I'm have to upgrade on that is going to need upgrade on a flathead and more....

Sounds like someone missed a few generations...   He would have been King back in the late 50s.   Once you go to OHV, blowers a moot HP point in that range.  You can get more than 500 HP w/o these daze.
This is west coast drag stuff, if there's any still out there.   The old timers may have some squirreled.   The Weber 3 & 6 manifolds were much more common for streeties  than blowers in the Cad powered buckets, coupes, etc.   You'd have to have a contact with those guys or make some blind calls.   Just may get a chuckle or two or "a what?" on the other end.   But keep trying.   Edelbrock, Offy (Offenhauser -still around), or Isky people may know or source.   Or the old timer west coast drag guys/teams.
Don't know if I ever even seen one and I've looked at tens of thousands+ of cars over 6 decades.   There's two "big" flat head HP shops but they mostly deal w/ Henry's stuff.   You can call them and ask.   I don't have that info handy -search.  {This comes up in the other brand I frequent, more nostalgia wannabee's than couldbees.}   Expect a hefty price or a gift from someone.   You'd have to go to the swop meets out there and put the word out, if you come up MT.
I suspect if you really have your heart stuck, you may have to build one.  Not much more than a rectangle cut to fi the block with some holes and a big open middle.   They do that CNC from billet stock.   There's a crazee guy over here(Charlotte) that makes these 6 foot tall motors and he hand crafts a lot of the parts, like two blower manifolds.   I don't get too close, afraid some more may rub off.

Greg i will definitely keep updates .
Jim i talk to one guy who said he has the intake but has yet to give me a price he said the company stopped  making them so im thinking  big big big bucks in that case ill bail on this little  Venture.

Strange.
Buddy's 500 HP Flat Cad racing and all building info was already answered with YouTube link in reply #1 :D
It seems everybody including the author missed it. Link is 23 minutes long and explains in details the progress.

I watched the video the moment it was posted and got the full run down  i do appreciate the videos by the way. If i can get the intake it seems some other parts will have to be machined. Not sure if its possible but maybe try to get ahold of buddy to get some info on the parts they had machined.  Im not try to beat records im just building to build.

John,
It seems that the motor in question was the joint project of several well equipped and knowledgeable manufacturing machine shops.  With the major mods to block being done and essentially all components being "hand made".  Given what I remember about flat head porting and with a SWAG at the rest of the components, I would not begin this task unless you are prepared to invest North of $40,000. in the motor.
