Hi Everybody,
Thanks for all the great info and advice so far on my project 56 Coupe. It looks like at the moment a 365 engine/trans will be the Drive train . The vehicle currently is empty from the rear end to the Dagmars. So can anyone tell me if the 58 Eng/Trans + driveshaft will fit well with little or no modification. ? According to the parts Manuel the rear end is the same between the 56 and 58 chassis. So should the dimensions be the same ?
Thanks Dan

56 trans has a long tail shaft in a series 62 body and has a one piece drive shaft.  I have dismantled 3 series 62 58s and found the trans has a shorter tail shaft and a two piece drive shaft with a center support.

Others will probably have much more information so watch for their input.
