1951 Cadi Series 62 heater delux complete system

HI all.    restoring my  dad's 1951 Series 62 Cadi sedan.       unfortunately, 40 years ago  dad removed the complete heater assembly.     looking to add it all back to original         any help would be appreciated.    I do have the heater unit under the front seat and a rear defroster.  Not sure if either work.     Missing i believe the defroster unit that goes in the engine compartment and the, thermostatic valve control (heater valve) and what other parts that attached to it.   I do not have any levers that are under the radio which allow me to turn it on.   my guess it attaches to the heater valve.    thanks      Ed
