Needing a restored dash clock for my 1950 Series 61 Sedan.  Mine is decent and could be restored BUT $150 just to look at it seems a bit steep.  Perhaps a member has some "excess stock" that they would like to let go for a deal...

Thank you

$150.00 sounds too cheap to restore a clock.   $1,500.00 would be a more appropriate cost, as there is more to it than just cleaning the dial.

I guess someone will eventually get the opportunity to "clean my clock" in this deal @ $1500!

I've seen rebuilds on several sites for $300 plus shipping and an online seller backed out of an auction deal that I paid for @ $150 plus shipping.  The market seems to be $150 to $300 for a nice rebuilt unit in the USA.  Would rather give my $ to another CLC member rather than an unknown online seller.

Ah ha.   There is a big difference between a clean and a rebuild.   A clock that old will require most of the bearings needing replacement, shafts rebuilding, along with all the little bits that need fixing after 60 years or less of ticking.

This is why a lot of people simply remove the guts and stick in a late-model electronic "movement".
