WANTED!!! 1979-1985 ELDORADO Drivers side door handle.

Does anyone know if a Buick Riviera or Oldsmobile Toronado door handle is the same?

Looking for parts for a 1984 Hess & Eisenhardt Eldorado convertible.

First post ever. Just joined NECLC & CLC.

I am located in Boston, Ma.

Thank you.

I’m not sure about the interchange but all 79-85 Eldo’s will be the same.
I have experience with Hess convertible Eldo’s and most of them have the illuminated entry system so that door handle may be slightly different.

See if your car has this option.

The physical handle is the same, the button is slightly different 84-85 vs 79-83. As Brian mentions, the illuminated entry system did spec out a different handle but if you get a nice set you can  swap the parts over with some care.

It does have a wire attached, and the innards are plastic, not metal. Like this.

its the innards I need. I have the handle but the plastic piece that moves when you push the button broke. Tried to epoxy but not luck.

3D printing the piece would be neat, but dont know if it would be strong enough (not that I even know anyone that has a 3D printer).

Figured easier to just buy the whole handle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
