Hey all,

I am doing a reupholstery job on my seats as a winter project. I bought New leather seat covers from LSeat.com and are waiting for them to come in. I am now getting all the materials and getting ready to dive in, as my rear bottom seat is now down to the frame. I would like to make these seats as comfy as possible.

Does anyone recommend a certain type and thickness for the new foam I will put in? I was told 2 inch foam will do the trick and I don't want to go too thick or else the covers might have a hard time getting on. Looking for the most comfortable option without making the covers not fit.

Thanks,
AL

Check with a local interior shop and see what products they use. There are many densities of foams and batting that can be used.

Explain to them what you are doing and looking to accomplish.
