Yes, seems like a good deal even with it having an HT4100.  Just know it could die at any point.  It is not perfect, but the price is not out of line.   It is what it is.

Rarely do you see next gen sellers do what this fellow has done.  He performed a LOT of maintenance and repairs, then DROVE his grandpas car!  Now he wants to sell.  No issues with that at all.

It's the grandkids that can't wait to sell Grandpa's prize Cadillac and show it dusty and running poorly or not running AND ask $12,000 for it that cause me to erupt.

Oil, ATF and coolant leaks confessed to isn't confidence inspiring, especially in a HT4100. Not Elegante'.

For $3k and you have the ability and knowledge to swap out the engine, it's a pretty decent car. I like that style personally, but would rather have it in a diesel version. Much more interchangeability options. Otherwise you are trying to match the HT4100 bell housing. Maybe it has a Goodwrench engine in it. IDK!

THe 85's had an "improved" 4100 engine...  and I owned one for 24 years and had 317K miles before my garage mechanic refused to work on it any more. "James, that car owes you nothing..."  So, baby it, don't push the engine, and maybe it will keep running, but , oh yes, it could die at any moment.  The interior looks to be in terrific shape.  If it were close to where I live, I'd be very interested (in spite of logic)   Thanks for posting,  James

I owned two HT 4100 Cadillacs. Both of them started leaking oil at about 60K miles. The dealership told me not to waste money trying to fix the problem. Aside from an ugly garage floor, it wasn't much of a problem. A coolant leak, however, would scare me.
