Seller's Description
PROJECT CAR. Decent bones though. CLEAN NEBRASKA TITLE. Currently does NOT run or drive. However I'm sure it would with little effort, just haven't had time. Tires are rotten. Interior smells like mice, but if you felt like trying to save it, it's still in decent shape. These cars are FWD, with a V8. Shows 58xxx miles but I'm sure it rolled over in its lifetime. I have too much going on to give this one attention.

It may turn out to be a decent parts car, but that's about it.

It's in a lot better shape than the '73 which is simply going to become part of the ground in which it came!

Nice door panels, which you would not want SMS to do for you at a cost of $1300 each and 2 -4 years waiting.

For those who say "worth more in parts" it is and it isn't.  No one I know or have heard of is restoring a 67-70 Eldorado.  I don't check that area of this forum often, but I doubt there is anyone in the USA doing a restoration on a 1st generation FWD Eldorado. 

Whenever I had a stalled project, I would price it at my cost.  These new sellers always think they can make money on their mistakes and have someone take it away without much skin in the game. 

When I sold a project or a driver like my last 2 - I coordinated to be there and help with loading and tools.

First gen FWD Eldos and Toros are arguably Bill Mitchell's finest work.  Worthy of restoration IMHO.  Oh well.

Well that RH mirror is worth a few bucks anyway...

I'm not restoring my Eldorados, but I am driving them.

The 70 could use a bit of rust repair on the sail panels, but I'm not going to go after them any time soon.

Looks to be in relatively decent condition considering it's over a 1/2 century old and has suffered outside storage and neglect.  I excepted to see a completely rotted vinyl top and rust through on the front of the hood, and a thoroughly rotted interior.   Driver's door panel shows well --- These postings of project cars are a wonderful diversion for me.  Thank you,  James

Perfect.  That sounds like a nice retirement reason right there.  I am still a few years away but I would not mind having one more restoration in me.

That's what I thought on the RH mirror.  That, and door panels and misc, a person could make a bit on this car.  However, one needs a good location to remove parts and I do not have that option anymore.
