Good solid 1970 Cadillac Eldorado 472 motor. The motor is stuck comes with no title. 130000 miles been sitting in shed the last 30 years located in Gilmore city

This is the rare project Eldorado that looks straight, with no visible rust, complete interior. I don't mind the color either

And it looks like 50,619 miles or so, no cracks in dash, seats, door panels.

That '70 has a nice color combination, but it has what appears to be rust stains on the front floor mat.  That could be from cowl rust, a bad heater core, leaky windshield or sunroof.   

I wonder if that is the "factory" American Sunroof Corporation (ASC) sunroof? 

You'd think some effort would have been made to clean the interior.

I did not notice that sunroof at first glance and thank you for confirming it is a 1970.  I put (?) because it states it has a 472, which to my knowledge ended in 1969. 

Does that inclusion of a factory sunroof make it "rarer" not that that matters.  It sure looks factory.

Like most, I prefer the 1968 Eldorado as the ultimate 1st generation FWD Eldorado, but I like the less trouble prone headlight system on the 69-70.  I like that a person gets the same sublime styling of the 1967-68 with the convenience of the non hideaway headlights.

Seems like a decent price for what it is. Agree I'd be concerned about the floor rust and interior condition...also rust on the seatbelts so I wonder how much water has gotten in and what else is affected. If the 130,000 miles is right there also could be a lot wrong with that engine.

The 1971 Ward's Automotive Yearbook does not list the percentage of 1970 models having a factory sunroof, and neither does the 1972 yearbook list the 1971 sunroof production.  1972 production is listed as 8%.  I would guess the 1970 sunroof to have been no more than 2-3% of production.  I looked at one in Ann Arbor about fifteen years ago, but it had a rod knock.  Since I owned a '71 as my first car, I looked at ones in junkyards and for sale in the Detroit area and on the internet and guess about 5% had it in '71.

Thanks Jim.  Yes, I suppose 1st year of a unique option would be 3-5% of production. We just got 5 inches of snow here in Iowa, I am sure that poor car is snow covered now, including seepage into the sunroof area.
