Guys,
Anyone have some recent experience re-coring a 41 radiator? Anyone know the cost of a new core? I'm asking for a friend that doesn't frequent this board. How about a good shop in the greater Bay area?
Thanks, Bob

Too much fun is more than you can have.

I had mine done by a local radiator shop in Louisville, KY

Cost was $1000. No issues.

Bob,
Cannot help you in regard to the Bay area, but I had mine recored by LA Radiator Works in Maine about a year ago.  They came highly recommended and I have experienced no problems what so ever. Price was about 2K. After calling around the price wasn't terribly bad.  Nothing is cheap anymore.  The radiator cores for these flatheads need to be pretty much to OEM spec and anyone who trys to sell you something different is not in the know.  I have learned from experience. Good Luck!  Ken Z
