1960s 1961 Dash Pad w/ and w/o Guide-matic eye

I'm restoring a 61 convertible that had a guide-matic eye but the dash pad and eye went missing.  Is there any difference in the dash pads?  Is it just a matter of punching a hole in a pad without an eye installed?

The Dash pads are the same and interchangeable.
