I was wondering if certain components of the older 314 engines, like the type 57, are compatible with the newer series 314 engines. I've got a 1919 and every time I go to look for parts, the only ones I seem to be able to find are for the later series 314. I was hoping they might be interchangeable, but thought I'd see if anyone knew for sure before I start buying things I can't use. Also, if anyone knows of any companies from which to buy quality parts for any facet of a Type 57 suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm afraid my first foray into Cadillac may have been a little too ambitious with a 104 year old auto, yet here I am. Thanks in advance.
