The parking lights in the grill of 1941 Cadillacs :
are they dual purpose i.e.  parking lights and turn signals combined ?
If so...are the bulbs dual-filament to accommodate this dual purpose function ?

Hello Jack,

The front parking lights on my 1941 Series 63 are dual purpose. They are turn signals as well as parking lights. The bulb is #1154. The same bulb is used for the rear tail and rear turn signal lights. I'm assuming your cadillac is still 6 volts.

Thanks John

And I see that 1154 bulbs are in fact double contact..... and this explains
how it can handle both functions.
