  Assembling my rocker shafts with new rockers and neglected to pay attention to what side the oil holes and slots are supposed to face.  Shafts are clean of all debris and caked up oil.  I would like to think towards the bottom, but want to be sure.  We all know what happens if something is not oiled enough.  Slots in the end of the shaft towards the center of the motor. I believe.

The oil holes in the shaft or rail as some call it go down so the oil is forced out on the load bearing surfaces.  Tim

The slots at the ends of the shafts should point toward the center of the motor.
