2027 100th anniversary of the first Lasalle Commemoration?

Three years from now will be the 100th anniversary of the first Lasalle. Does anyone know if the CLC is planning to commemorate this?

Does anyone know if this will be commemorated at a non CLC concours show(s)?

Hi Tom,

In 2007 the CLC Potomac Region celebrated the 80th Anniversary of the LaSalle (Legacy of LaSalle) at our Annual Fall Show at Capitol Cadillac in Greenbelt, MD.

Since this year's Cadillac Fall Festival will be celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the 1964 Cadillac, perhaps that would be the best venue to celebrate the 100th Aniversary of the LaSalle.

Tom, I realize that you might have "just thought of this," but rest assured, we have folks who keep track of things like this just like you. And keep reminding us, so we don't forget. Since LaSalle had so many "firsts" I'm sure that we'll find some meaningful way to celebrate this important anniversary. Thanks for bringing it up.

I went to the CLC Grand National in 2002 in Detroit where the commemorated the 100th anniversary of Cadillac. I still have the special porcelain license plate they gave out.

I spoke to Dave Rubin (CLC vice president for national activities) briefly at the GN awards banquet. I reminded him 2027 is the 100th anniversary of the first Lasalle. Members with Lasalles should be encouraged to show them at the 2027 GN at Reno Nevada.
