Needing help with the wall panels in our 1930. We have the authenticity manual and looked at numerous cars online.....all are different and most pictures hard to tell. Who has correct interior pics of their car to assist us with this for our 1930, 340 sedan. Other years either side may be same as well. Thank you for your feedback.

Our issues are:

Where are there seams showing and not showing from rear quarter windows to rear window?

Is there a seam halfway down the side wall (breaks at bottom of qtr window) at the backseat or 1 solid panel from headliner down?

Is there just 1 piece that runs the length of the car above the doors front to back or a break above each door?

Is there a trim cord between headliner and wall panels?

Wiper regulator header, appears there may be a panel that goes over it just above the windshield crank at the headliner?

The header, just gets wrapped in upholstery?

I have a 1931 Town Sedan. Is your 4 door like mine or is it a longer  7-pass  body? The car has baaad wood ,but the upholstery is in tack . I may be able to get some clues.

Your car is most likely  a Fisher Body. There is a book available that covers 26-31 Fisher bodies. The illustrations are not of much use in the reprints.  If you could get the Fisher Body Service Bulletin Volume 2 Number 12 they are only of some use. This bulletin is what the section of the book is based.

The text is of more help, but is how all fisher bodies were made. I am having a hard time understanding exactly what you want. But,here is an example that could help, from the bulletin.

"The first step in preparation of the over windshield trim strip assembly is to cut two pieces of fibre board, sufficiently long to reach across the face of the front roof bow and wide enough to fit snugly against the headlining and project one-half inch below the edge of the front roof bow. The approximate width of these pieces would be 1 1/2 inches each.
Lay the cloth face down on the bench and place the two pieces of fibre board edge to edge  and cut the cloth about 3/4 inch wider than their combined width. This would be approximately 3 3/4 inches."

It then goes into detail how to glue them together and install them.

I can snail mail you a copy of the bulletin,if you message me your address. Or get a copy of the fisher 26-31 body book.

Hi Warren,
It is a fisher body 5 pass. If you have some interior pictures of your car be beneficial, thank you for the response.
