Hello,

I have a pair of low mileage (< 30K miles each) 1990 Fleetwoods.  Parts for these are becoming more and more difficult to find, but I would like to keep these cars fully functional as long as I can.  To that end, I have a 1992 DeVille which is, unfortunately, very near the end of its useful life.  Rather than selling the 1992 for whatever I can get, I would very much prefer to part it out if parts are compatible with my 1990 vehicles.  I realize that the engines changed from the 4.5 liter to the 4.9 liter, but I am thinking (hoping) that many components remained the same.  I am wondering about parts such as electronics (e.g. BCM, ECM), CV joints, motors for locks and windows, water pump, radiator, heater core, a/c components, and ...?

I am also hoping to find the right book or book or books to determine parts compatibility for the 1990 Fleetwood.  It appears that parts (at least body?) are compatible from 1989 through 1993?  For whatever years parts are compatible with 1990, I would like to find the book(s).  Searching on eBay indicates the best book is the following (covers 1988 to 1992, but NOT 1993):
https://www.ebay.com/itm/364210004222?_nkw=1990+cadillac+parts&itmmeta=01J6QR0HVHPEJ7XN0K90PF1C8G&hash=item54cc9ba0fe:g:2OcAAOSwisFkMJoE&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKlaTi5GPM38TRUEak9WgKKK4TCcvhNS%2FVrDrjvFGmY%2BcYvkJHSjVwLlYALxRi7D%2F4bMjVhnNNH28xpULtnRhp4mflnsULsK2bq4yPsUxgGZQq1UmlC7JujX8ArHiw0K6883rVYYh8Dzt39YC3sL4AckUTxmFYhMfq3bQpRRo4%2FG2L%2BHwz0q2wcC1IA9atikdd9QFnVqcvUh62hYKT1i45a0vwv5XTm5fbNuU22dVX%2F3dDZ82SIhRTrkPBBRbKaHv8g%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR4aegvi1ZA

Is this the best book?  Is there another one that possibly also includes 1993 (if necessary) that I haven't been able to find yet?

As always, thanks for your assistance.

Regards, Brent

Best way to handle that is to post the eBay item number (364210004222) and
invite those interested to put that number in the Ebay SEARCH box.
There is a fine line between "Hobby" and "Mental Illness".  Dave Barry.   I walk that line.

Or use the link tool where you can name it and that way it doesn't matter if its a mile and a half long.

The issue is the length and way you posted the link messes up the formatting so for many users its a almost impossible to read scrolling disaster.
