Local Car Show Flier Choice

This weekend there was a car show near me. But what caught my eye was the car they selected to be on the flier.

The concept car 1956 Eldorado Brougham.

Overall the image was taken from this picture. Just look at the passenger rear window, and the light reflection on the front hood for comparison.

But there are two noticeable changes. The grill blacked out with license plate bracket gone, and the sweep of the body side molding.

Even though this one of one Cadillac concept car was chosen for the show flier. There were no Cadillacs there.

I think most people only know 'that's a Cadillac' and they are still considered top of the line, at least with vintage cars of the 1950s.

Not the car on the show flier, but it seems the 1959 Cadillac has to be one of the most well known & iconic vehicles akin to the 1957 Chevy. Almost 'everybody' knows what they are.

They are still the most common named vehicles in songs, note and compared 'rides like a Cadillac', etc etc.
Enjoy life - it has an expiration date.
