'66 Eldorado how to install windshield-header bow weatherstrip?

Hello,
The new weatherstrip has arrived from Rubber the Rightway. Now my simple question is, how do you install the weatherstrip? Do I need to use some type of glue?
I figured that the seal is installed by applying specific type of glue (for car weatherstripping) after aligning the seal with the header bow of the windshield (there are hole in the bow and the weatherstrip has "bumps". Am I correct?
