The plate looks like a 1939 radio blank off. Not sure what the V fits.

You think its 1939?  LOL, we have a 39 7533 built for J Edgar (armor-plate, bullet-proof glass).

When we acquired the car it was missing some pieces on the dash. Found a nice clock with intact glass at a neighbor's estate sale - in the discard pile.

The Build Sheets indicate the car only had a 2-way radio for the rear passenger.  We have the car stored elsewhere so will have to go visit to see if the piece may fit. I'll let you know. Tnx
