the radiator shop says mine is shot--1500 for a recore which seems excessive

any sources for another one?  aluminum is cheap but I would like to keep close to original

$1,500 seems excessive.  I have not used these guys but they quoted $400 to recore my Jeep radiator plus some labor.

I ended up buying a new Aluminum radiator.  If it was for my Cadillac I would have had it rebuilt.

I jad my 60 radiator recored for $500.00 anout 4 years ago.

Give Acme Radiator a call. 516 293 2175. Talk to Bill. THey are  in New York and have Copper/Brass radiators. Standard $645 HD $875. I believe they have the HD in stock. If you can wait about three weeks he'll have the standard.
