There is a 1969 Eldorado convertible on an auction tomorrow.  VIN # F9267059.  It's been in a barn for 7-8 years.  The auctioneer says it has a little mouse damage (?), was running when it was parked and just needs a battery.  White with Black interior.  The top is up and has no rips.   How rare is this car and what is it's value?
Thanks. John

There wasn't an Eldorado convertible from 67-70 so its probably a Deville.  7-8 years even if it was carefully put away with the intention of long term storage in good ambient conditions is more than a just needs a battery revival so I'm not trusting anything they are saying.  A little mouse damage?  IF they couldn't just vac and air it out it must be pretty bad if they felt they had to mention it.

Are you looking for 69 and at least a minor project?   If you are and are maybe worth a look in person if its not too far but I would not plan on sticking a battery in it and drive it home.  Its gonna need to be towed or trailer to be gone through.

Chances are good it wasn't parked with everything in mint condition so its likely gonna need all the soft rubber parts like hoses and tires.  Could need the gas tank dropped and cleaned or replaced. Could need hard brake parts.

The letter "F" as first digit of the VIN is for a de Ville convertible.

Hi;  It's at $4400.00 dollars and the auction has 8 hours left to go. I think it is already overpriced for the condition.  An internet search looks like there are a lot of nice, running cars for not a lot more.

It looks complete, but the pictures are horrible to discern the real condition of the car. It has to be a late model in the run. The fuel gauge is that of a '70. '69's had a 'waterfall' gauge. No pictures of the steering wheel.

Why would anyone that has a reputable? business present a car in this condition. A half a days work to make it look presentable would greatly increase the chances for a better sales price. Unless you can do a hands on inspection, I would direct my looking elsewhere. It needs $10g's just to get it to go around the block.

When people say mouse damage, you know it includes wiring. You may not get around the block before it burns up. JMHO!
