Well looks as if my 1950 CDV shot its speedometer over the weekend.  Not only that, but it broke the speed indicator needle in half.  I know a few of you have posted this before, but what vendor would you trust to repair this, and where can I source a need correct styled needle?

The same thing happened to me in the 1956 coming home from a show in Norfolk.  I heard some gears catching and then the speedometer stopped altogether.  Looks like I have to pull it and send it out for repair.  Ugh.  Not an easy job on any Cadillac!!

This guy is close to me and I have used him.  Expensive, but he could fix your speedo.

Bob's is very good; they've been in business for a long time but yes as David mentioned, can be expensive.
