I have a 41 coupe with the automatic. Looking for a postwar transmission to swap, which I understand is a pretty straightforward task. Any leads in Indiana area are much appreciated.

I've been there, dune it!!! Several times. The ONLY way to do it is to have the donor car right there!!! And... it  has to be a 41.

It's not clear from your post.
Parts are 1 hr east of Hershey.
