1950s 1958 Coupe de Ville brake rubber needed

Hello !

I am working on my 58 Coupe de Ville- I am looking for a rubber part . I don't know the name of this part. It's for the brake pedal between the firewall and the booster ( Not the the rubber at the booster ).I think it's a dusk cover.

Would be great if anybody could give me the name of this part and where I can buy it .

In the alternative (I think $85 is outrageous), the part is only a rubber bellows. The seller clearly is not having these custom made, therefore these are out there somewhere, only a matter of finding what it goes to and I'm sure it's in the $20-$30 range.

The part you are looking for is at the page 8-9 from the 58 shop manual supplement. Its name could be "seal" but I don't find it in the parts list. Obviously, Steele rubber is not reproducing it.
I would take something similar and adapt it to your need.

The one below specifically states it is for the brake pedal rod where it goes through the floor/firewall, not the booster. Am I missing something here?

It is, again, just a rubber "bellows". Just do a generic search for "rubber bellows" on ebay or google and you'll get thousands of options.

I have searched an not found anyone making that part.  I have the part print for it, but no vendor to produce it.

The part is in the ebay ad above, or below, or search for a rubber bellows and select one that looks like it will work. The ebay ad states it is the brake rod boot for the brake rod to the firewall/floor. It also states this is NOT the brake booster boot. Is someone making the part - no. But someone found something that will work. The part is not mine and I do think $85 is crazy. If after three times posting the same link and message the OP doesn't want it or think it is incorrect, I will give up.
