On behalf of the Publications Committee, the Executive Committee, and Tim Coy, our national art director, another wonderful change is coming to your mailbox with the September issue of The Self-Starter. After months of discussion, we have again benefited from our printer offering us a more attractive agreement regarding publishing our multiple-award-winning magazine.

Rising costs in postage have accelerated our negotiations and I am delighted to share that starting with the September issue, The Self-Starter issues going to United States addresses will be mailed in a nice plastic polybag! Our members in other countries already enjoy receiving their magazines in a polybag or envelope, so everyone will now benefit. The white outer wrap will be eliminated to reduce weight and cost of mailing, but in turn, you will be receiving your magazine with the chance of damage caused by the U.S. Postal Service greatly reduced. We do ask that you recycle the bag properly.

This is another cool benefit for our members, giving you what so many have requested. Enjoy the change!
