Hi Everyone,

Soooo....after appearing to fall off the face of the planet 5 years ago, I'm back.

A little backstory here. The virus hit, life stopped, and in October 2020, I sold my last Cadillac and did a few other things in life.

What was I up to?  Well, I finished off the other brand Henry Leland car that had been sitting in the garage waiting to be finished for 3 years. Got back into ATV-ing after 30 years, started a related YouTube channel, and left the construction industry after 18 years and became a civil servant in healthcare procurement. Did some traveling once the world opened up again too.

Fast forward to July 2025. After 8 years, I decided to sell the Brand X car, and the next day, I did the deal on this 95 Fleetwood Brougham and immediately put it into service on vacation duty the following week and of course, rejoined the CLC.

So, tonight, she got a bath and a photo session. Her name is Dolly.

Is Dolly perfect?  Nope. This winter, plans are to do a full reconditioning. Cut and polish, dye the top, some PDR, and other things to take it up a notch.

As part of the reconditioning, I'm debating on re-dying the top I'm the original colour or the same colour as the interior (something easily reversible by a future caretaker once I pass the torch. Looking for opinions and perhaps photos from others on the change. I've only found two pictures online of a light adriatic blue with dark blue top car and that was an aftermarket carriage top.

Anyhow, I've probably rambled enough for today.

It's great to be back.

Welcome back! '95 Fleetwood is a great Cadillac to get back into it again. Good luck with your project.

AI result from requesting the vinyl top show as dark blue.

May not be factory original but I like it, IMO looks classy.
Enjoy life - it has an expiration date.

Great to have your voice and engagement back on the Forum Dan... and great choice for a thirty year "young" Cadillac to get your attention.  By the way, on the Restoration COrner forum, a member recently finished logging in his entire reconditioning efforts on a similar car...I know you'll find his journey of interest.

Oooh.  Thanks for the heads-up.  I'll head over that way and check it out.
