Very interesting article in latest Self Starter about the (defective) pitman arms for those years. Yall might want to read it and check your pitmans.

Yup...I was lucky enough to find a NOS pitman on Ebay about a year ago.  Be careful because I purchased a pitman from a specialty parts place that was represented as being the revised one but it was not.

It was Eds experience looking for a pitman arm and my online exchanges with him that were part of the inspiration to write the article. (Thanks, Ed!) There was a lot of misinformation floating around out there.
