Yes, its me again.  Still looking and have additional info. The 41 Cad Im trying to locate had a straight 8, column manual shift, gray or tawney cloth interior and it was traded in on a 56 Chevy in 1956 at either Hulac or Hubler Chevrolet in Omaha, Nebr probably in Sept or Oct of 1956.
If all else fails-where can I go to obtain a photo of the 41 Cad, black, having a straight 8, both two and four door since my memory just cant conger up that specific.
Thank you,   Don Seaman

Donald, The ONLY stright-8 engine that Cadillac made was in the 35,36 La Salle.
If yo know of a 41 with a stright-8, someone changed it.
All 1941 Cadillacs had V8 engines.
Good Luck, Jim

The place to start is Yanns Cadillac Database (from the link in the left column on the home page of the Cadillac LaSalle club).  If it is photos and facts that you need, this will be the place to find them.

Here is a link to the 1941 photo page:

Thank you !  I just got off land line with Mr. Peters and at 2:30pm today I learned that I propably was driving a LaSalle, Cads companion car.  He said they were made in the same factory and even had Cad pedals on the clutch and gas.  In fact, just this morning I had to go run erands and described the vehicle "it was kind of a poor mans Cad" because it did not
have "those" extras.  One thing I am very sure of was that it had a straight 8.  Thanks again for your willingness to help.

Hello Tod,  Thank you for taking the time to help.  Ive been talking to Mr. Peters in Fort Wayne, IN and unless someone put a straight 8 into the Cad--I was driving a LaSalle, Cad companion car which wasnt so lavish.  Thanks for the website to go for photos.  Ill check it.  Have a good day.
