My 69 eldorado with climate control blows cold, but wont blow hot, and let me tell you, this is not necessarily the best time of year for A.C. Any suggestions??

Marc, you can un-plug the electrical connection at the AC compresser untill you warn-up.
I did it all the time in cold weather because if I didnt, the compressor ran when ever the system was on.
I had a 1971 at the time.
Good Luck, Jim

The heat on my later Cad, is controlled be a bi-metal switch located on the front of the r/h cylinder head. If the earlier model is the same you could try checking this. Mine is behind the genny just to the front of the spark plug. It has 1 wire connector, make sure this hasnt come adrift.

Hi,

How are the vacuum lines that control the flaps in the ductwork?  Do you hear the ducts open and close?  Do you have the defoggers?

You might have a broken or disconnected line.
