Kinda stumped here, Mamas had problems with the defroster in Patricia not working all winter long. She can turn it on after starting the engine cold, then after a few minutes running the fan shuts down and wont run in defrost mode again until the next time the engine is cold. The heat works fine. Ive replaced the climate control module but have the same result. The BCM was replaced in the car 3 years ago and the defroster worked ok until this winter.
The Owners manual says the defroster will delay starting until the engine reaches a certain temp (100F like my Eldo I presume).
Seems that the SDV reaches the magic temp the defroster shuts down. Any clues out there?
