There are places in Alabama that will do it for a couple of hundered dollars.  You end up with a bill of sale from Alabama and use that to register in your state.

I was surprised at how little hassle I got when I titled my 60 in FL with a GA bill of sale.  Almost makes one think that you could just write up a bill of sale and the state would take it.

What state are you in?

Bruce Reynolds # 18992

I heard the other day that the Federal Authorities were looking into the Georgia Title Suppliers and they raided a couple of Hot Rod builders in California regarding some problems with Titles and their suppliers.

I would always be very wary of getting a Title from somwhere that was supplying a Title that wasnt Bona Fide.

Connecticut doesnt issue not require a Title on pre-1981 cars.   In fact, even if you have a Title, they still make you go to the inspection lane for a VIN# verification.   The reason being VIN # are often incorrect on registrations, that combined with the fact none of the DMV are interlinked by computer.  Or so they claim.
