what do i do with this

I have a 1940 cadillac lasalle 2 door embasitor coup.the motor and drive line are out of the car,iam fixing to turn this car in to a street rod. what do i do with the frame and drive line,this to has ben rebuilt i need sugestions.the motor is a 352 flathead rebuilt with new porsolin exaust,trans is stock three speed on the tree,hydrolic shocks have also ben rebuilt.some one please help me find out what this is worth to someone,i would like to finance some of the rod with it.   thank you TREVOR......who says i cant be difrent....................

I would suggest you sell the entire car to someone who appreciates fine old cars, and find something else to butcher.

The car is basically still intact and restoreable.

You can buy a street rod WAY cheaper than you can build one.

Good luck if you pursue your original idea, you will need it, and buckets full of cash too.

Trevor, take Dons advice. If you had a small cavity you wouldnt tell the dentist to pull it out, you would fix it. This is a LaSalle. Sell it to someone who will preserve it, please. Plenty of old or new stuff around that can be chopped up. Art
