I found a beautiful nos hood crest while going through my Room Of Doom. It is exactly 2 and 3/4 inches between points. No numbers on back. Machine threads on stud, line up post to side of stud. Way bigger than the 65-66 type. Anybody recognize this beauty??
71 Olds 98 LS, 66 Fairlane 500 XL Convertible, 55 Packard Clipper Super, 58 Edsel Ranger, 72 Cheyenne Super, many 49-60 parts cars, abandoned "House Of Doom" full of 49-60 parts. Huge piles of engine parts, brackets, tin, Hydramatic & Jetaway parts,  thousands of stainless moldings, dozens of perfect sedan doors.

The beauty you have fits only two years of Cadillacs (1970 and 1971-Deville Series). If you find a trunk lock with crest cover in your collection, you hit the jackpot. It is also the larger size and only fits the two years mentioned.I have been searching for a NOS or even a reproduction for my 1971 Cadillac Sedan Deville, none of the sources I have contacted have one.

I thought I had one for you Greg.  I bought what was advertised on eBay as an NOS hood crest for my '72 Fleetwood but when it arrived I could see right away that it is way too big.  It measures 3 3/16" from side to side and 2 5/8 from top to bottom.

While we're on the subject, does anyone know what year(s) it may fit?
